Weeds Blossom
is a design collection inspired by
wild city flowers:
the small presences
that share our living spaces;
the so called “weeds.”
Collected from the margins of
paved roads
they have been
transported on fabric through
a photo-chalcographic process.
The details of the flowers,
leaves and stems
are translated
into a fine imprint characterized
by unique and
unusual details.
Weeds and Blossom is
‘the negative of the aesthetics
of conventional nature:
plants
that usually considered
insignificant,
become in their elegance,
a strong and
legendary presence.
Weeds and Blossom is an invitation
to open your eyes beyond
the conventions that flatten reality.
Weeds Blossom
uses 100% natural
materials and water based inks.
Each item is individually hand made
in my workshop, an old cowshed in Milan suburbia.

Weeds Blossom e’ una collezione ispirata
alle piante spontanee cittadine,
a queste piccole presenze che
condividono i nostri spazi abitati:
le cosi’ dette “erbacce”.
Raccolte dai margini delle strade asfaltate
sono state trasportate sulla fibra
in cotone attraverso un processo
foto-calcografico
I dettagli dei fiori, di foglie e fusti si traducono
in un’impronta fotografica dai dettagli sottili,
unici e insoliti.
Weeds Blossom e’ il negativo
dell’estetica della natura convenzionale:
piante normalmente insignificanti diventano,
nella loro eleganza, una presenza vigorosa
e leggendaria.
Weeds Blossom e’ un invito ad aprire gli occhi
e oltrepassare le convenzioni
che appiattiscono la realta’.
Weeds Blossom usa cotone naturale al cento
per cento e inchiostri ad acqua.
Le magliette sono pezzi unici,
singolarmente realizzate a mano nel mio
laboratorio, una vecchia stalla alle porte di milano.
